Tasks
  • To advise on different academic issues of the department.
  • To assist in finalization of Vision-Mission-PEOs-PSOs of the programs of the department.

Tasks

• To allot 7th semester students under the guidance of different faculty members of the department following a transparent and unbiased mechanism (Mechanism to be set by the members of the committee)
• To ensure that students as well as faculty members are satisfied with the process of allotment and the allotted project topics
• To monitor the progress of project works at set interval
• The project rubric is to be made available to all the students at the beginning of the project works
• To ascertain that the rubric is strictly followed in assigning marks by respective guides
• To suggest change in the rubric (if required)
• To organize project progress presentation, final presentation and project viva according to the departmental academic calendar
• To organize a project exhibition at the end of the project works and invite industry people as well as guardians for the same.

• If required, to organize a project exhibition at the end of the project works and invite industry people as well as guardians for the same.

• To keep photocopy of all the related documents and preserve the same
• To maintain an excel sheet containing student wise information and status of their summer training program
• To distribute the rubric among the students before they leave for the training programs.
• To evaluate the summer training reports as per the rubric and assign marks accordingly
• To suggest change in the rubric (if required)
• To initiate steps for entering into an MOU with PSUs, Govt. Departments and other prospective training provider organizations, for AEC students’ summer training program.

◦ To analyze the impact of the system and change the mechanism accordingly
◦ To motivate the faculty members to attend training programs and skill development workshops periodically

◦ To preserve the consultancy and sponsored research details along with proofs
◦ To prepare budget estimate for the upgradation of faculty rooms, name plates etc. as soon as possible

◦ To analyze the impact of the system and change the feedback format accordingly
◦ In case of, feedback on facilities, appropriate measures have to be taken to improve the facility.

◦ To be in contact with PO-PSO review committee to stay updated with the attainment of PO-PSO and ask the course instructor to change the COs, if required.
◦ To ensure course end survey at the end of each course.
◦ To maintain subject wise mapping and attainment in an excel file.

◦ To inspect the instruments of the respective laboratory and take necessary action, if needed.
◦ To ensure all the safety measures in the laboratories mentioned in SAR.
◦ To prepare a budget required to renovate the laboratory as per the demand in SAR which includes seating arrangements, wifi, white board, duster, marker etc.
◦ To prepare laboratory manuals for each of the experiment and keep it handy inside the lab.
◦ To prepare/ download video tutorials for each of the experiment and display the same whenever required.

◦ To prepare rubrics for the laboratory experiments.
◦ To bring innovation in laboratory classes to make it more interesting.
